Finally Spring is on the horizon and the days are gradually getting warmer. Soon lambing season will arrive and all of the farms will be a hive of activity while in the city everyone is shopping for the change of season. The warmer weather means the Lows begin to show their faces in the city more, but that means there is also more thefts and crime...

Merlin must offer a prestigious Guild position to one of his best mages. Will it be Chase or Dreamer though? Tension is running high and the consequences could be unexpected...
Maid Gillianne Auvray has temporarily resigned her post as castle maid as her family have suddenly regained their wealth.

Its great to see you're all here and active :D
I think Merlin would agree that we have both been rubbish admins over the last couple of months and we are very very sorry (please forgive us? :( )
I'm hoping to be on much more once i've moved into my new flat, because hopefully our project at work will be done by then and that means less working late and being stressed!
We have several new members who i hope are fitting in and feeling welcome! As usual, let me or any other admin know if you need any help :)
Lets also have a bit of a push with RP, and hopefully we'll have some new members soon too!
Barrels of royal-wizard love, Merlin & Arthur

Prince Arthur Pendragon is King Uther's only son, and therefore heir to Camelot's throne. He is young, brave and headstrong, however his boyish behaviour and good looks often lead him to act arrogantly, and he has a lot to learn. He has a close, sometime turbulent relationship, with his magical man-servant- Merlin. Whilst Arthur does not share his father's dislike for magic; he is still wary of the practice. Arthur is acting head of Camelot's Army, and aims to form a strong band of knights on whom he can entrust Camelot's protection.
Romantically, Arthur is hot property. Both the noblewomen at court and visiting princesses from other kingdoms are present with one goal in mind, not to win his heart, but his hand in marriage. Arthur has a close brotherly relationship with Uther's ward, the beautiful Lady Morgana.

One half of LoP admin, 21 years old and male, Arthur spend a lot of his spare time coding, making graphics or just generally keeping the site running smoothly.
He works as a SEO manager/web administrator/photography assistant.
In the small amount of spare time he has left, he plays far too much Xbox360 and reads too many books.
Merlin is a young man with a skinny frame and crop of dark hair. He is awkward, but well meaning with a good heart. He resides in the Castle both as Prince Arthur's manservant and Gaius, the royal apothecary's, assistant. Since Uther's acceptance of magic, Arthur ensured that Merlin was trusted to head the royal Guild and hand select promising young mages, like himself, to train.
Merlin's clumsiness may occasionally anger the Prince, but he is still Arthur's most loyal friend.

The second half of LoP admin, Merlin, is a 20 year old British student, studying for an English degree at university. Whilst they don't see each other much during term time, except in Camelot, Merlin and Arthur go back a long way (well, high school!).
The Dark Knight is a shady figure, and head of the Brotherhood. This underworld band of assassins, rebel mages and petty thieves are unaligned with the laws of Camelot and the Pendragon family. The Dark Knight oversees members' training and controls their activities. Due to the Dark Knight's tight regime, the Brotherhood's existence is not common knowledge amongst citizens and nobility.

Morgana was the daughter of Gorlois, an ally of King Uther. Following her father's death in battle when she was ten years old, Uther adopted her as his own and raised her as his daughter. Whilst the Lady Morgana is renowned for her beauty, she is much more than just a pretty face; she is fiery and independent and wouldn't hesitate to stand up to both Uther and Arthur. She possesses psychic magic that she is only just learning to control, and is handy with a sword, having been taught by Arthur himself.

The Dungeons Two guards sit by the door, playing a game of cards on an old oak table. The dungeons are where criminals and enemies of the King will spent their last days. Feel free to create your own threads here.
The City Square (3 sub-boards) The main square in Camelot, it is a bustling place and a central location that leads to the Lower town where most citizens live. Feel free to create your own threads here.
The Marketplace (3 sub-boards) All kinds of stalls and shops to satisfy everyone- no matter what your budget. Feel free to create your own threads here.
The Slums (3 sub-boards) The poor live in this part of the city, which is made up of ramshackle, unsafe and dirty buildings. Brotherhood boards can also be found here. Feel free to create your own threads. Moderator: The Dark Knight
Hagmoore Green (3 sub-boards) What would other wise be a pretty square of greenery in central camelot, is marred by the prescence of a hangman's scaffold. Public hangings are carried out here. Threads concerning hangings and time in the stocks will be created by members of staff, other than that feel free to create your own threads here.
The Forest of Balor (1 sub-board) A dangerous place for the unprepared. Contains the Caves of Balor and the Druid camp. Enter at your own risk, and stick to the paths. Moderator: Morgause
The Kingsway The main road into Camelot, used by traders and visitors alike. Characters travelling from other lands may wish to make their first post here. Feel free to create your own threads.
The Graveyard The graveyard is a sloping hill with various grassy mounds under which bodies are buried and marked by broad trees. Morgana's father and Arthur's mother are both buried here. Burials will be held in this board.
Cenred (1 sub-board) Cenred is ruled over by King Sorestan- a lazy King who does little to protect the outlying villages from threats. Moderator: Princess Aloisia Sorestan
Gore (1 sub-board) The Kingdom of Gore is ruled over by King Urien. It is not especialy happy with Camelot for allowing magic back into the realm. Moderator: Princess Sophia Lyonesse
Mercia (2 sub-boards) The coastal city of Mercia, and its surrounding area, is ruled over by Lord Bayard and due to its seaside location is a hub for business and trade. Camelot and Mercia used to be at war, but have since signed a peace treaty. There is much work to be found here, and the area is fairly affluent. Feel free to create your own threads here.
